Statement

Only in the abstract form of art lies the opportunity for extreme liberty to intensely feel without interference of the mind. No memory bound image creates a pure experience for the viewer, an event for his soul. The mind is silenced through composition and colour combination only, the heart is opening. Nothing is preconceived during the work process, nothing known ahead of time; surrendering to the unknown, the mystery revealing itself forms the event. There is no calculation, nothing is ever reproduced to predict the impact of the experience. Naturally this act is to be witnessed over and over again in a finished piece. The atmosphere of each work is unique and to be received in its authenticity, the painting is alive.
